Donna Spencer has spent most of her working life in higher education, starting as a first-generation undergrad studying English and linguistics at Morehead State University in Kentucky. She has a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota writing program and worked as a writer and editor at Ohio University and Mountain State University before coming to UT in 2012.
April Massengill

April Massengill is a senior editor and writer with the UTIA Office of Marketing and Communications, where she helps bring to life a variety of print and digital projects. She is a two-time alumna of UT, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and a Master of Business Administration. Massengill’s professional experience spans the higher education, health care, and public relations agency industries.
