Joel Christopher has been the editor at Knox News and the Knoxville News Sentinel since February 2019, and a professional journalist since 1995. He worked as a reporter and editor in Wisconsin, where he created the USA TODAY Network’s first statewide network of newsrooms in 2014, and was the editor of the Courier Journal in Louisville, Kentucky, before moving with his family to Knoxville.
