This session unpacks the key elements of a university-level research story, the College of Communication and Information’s four-point strategy to prioritize and elevate research content, and how collaboration is helping maximize value and impact.

Christie Kennedy leads the strategic planning and implementation of elevating UT’s research reputation to national audiences. She is a two-time graduate of UT and believes in the power of effectively communicating about science to help create a more sustainable, livable world.
Deb Crouse
Director of Communications and Marketing
College of Communication and Information
Deb Crouse leads the strategic direction, vision, and creative standards of the College of Communication and Information’s communication and marketing efforts. She provides strategic communication counsel to the dean, ensuring effective messaging and branding for the college. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from UT in 2014 and is a proud Vol for Life.
