2018 College of Architecture + Design Annual Report
The College of Architecture and Design annual report is produced for alumni and donors as well as prospective faculty members, and prospective students. In the words of the college’s administration, “the striking publication not only expresses our successes each year but also conveys our challenges and strategies for continued success. Visually, it is a lovely portfolio of a year in our history.” The cover features an embossed graphic that represents the Tennessee RiverLine, a bold project that celebrates the river, catalyzes economic opportunities and ecological stewardship, and connects it with communities.

Mattering and Belonging
The website belong.utk.edu was launched in March following a series of racist events on campus. The goal of the site is to provide a way for UT to demonstrate our community values and center serious conversations about campus experiences around student voices. It also serves as a means to communicate progress on an action plan for improving cultural competency and global citizenship on campus. The website also houses “Orange Table Talk,” a series of videos that feature students discussing difficult and sensitive topics.
