Over the Moon(pie)
Patrick Wells (’14) was an advertising major with an internship at the Tombras Group while he was a student at UT. After graduation, Wells was working full-time at Tombras when he employed clever social media tactics to greatly expand the reach of local MoonPie brand.

Historic Access
Student volunteers are helping the McClung Museum uncover the history of black Civil War troops in Tennessee. The goal is to make this overlooked African American achievement accessible in a digital archive.

Fire Forensics
David Icove is the Underwriters Laboratory Professor of Practice in UT’s Tickle College of Engineering. He helped create the National Joint Terrorism Task Force, co-authored what is essentially the encyclopedia of fire investigations, and trains firefighters all over the world.
