Volunteer Stories are our stories. They share the ways that we as members of the Big Orange community have a real, measurable impact on the world.
Tell Us a Story.
Do you know someone who embodies the Volunteer Spirit in the work that they do—whether through their outstanding research, their efforts in community outreach, or the subjects that they choose to study and pursue during their time at the University of Tennessee?
Here are some examples of Volunteer Stories we’ve already shared:
- Two UT graduate students are working on a product that could mean significant cost savings for farmers across the country.
- An enterprising undergraduate wants other students to consider living in and giving back to our town after graduation.
- A professor is helping hundreds of UT students build career paths while crafting racetrack-worthy eco-friendly cars for national competitions.
- A digital librarian is using her medium to tell stories—particularly those of grief-stricken communities—in ways that affect positive change.
We’d Love to Hear It.
