Are you unsure about brand standards or have trouble finding the resources you need? Curious about what information will be affected by the new UT intranet? In this session, staff members from different areas of the Office of Communications and Marketing will briefly introduce the new SharePoint intranet site, identify a few elusive resources, and answer your questions.

Patrick Wolf
Director of Creative Communications
Office of Communications and Marketing
Patrick Wolf joined the creative communications team at UT as director in August of 2019. He has freelanced, worked in small agencies, and in-house corporate. Prior to UT, he spent 10 years at Discovery/Scripps Networks leading design teams, most recently as the creative director of their digital brand creative team. He is a graphic designer by trade and graduated from UT with a BFA in graphic design in 2001.
Angie Dobbs
Assistant Director of Creative Communications
Office of Communications and Marketing
Angie Dobbs is an assistant director on the creative team in the Office of Communications and Marketing. An Oak Ridge native and UT alumna, Dobbs joined the creative team in 2004 as an art director/designer. She oversees a staff of artists and one photographer, designs the Torchbearer magazine and helps manage the reputation and brand of the university.
Lindsey Owen
PR Specialist
Office of Communications and Marketing
Lindsey Owen is a PR specialist on the news and information team in the Office of Communications and Marketing. She first joined UT in 2019 as the communicator for the School of Art upon graduating from the School of Journalism and Electronic Media’s master’s program. While in the master’s program, Owen worked as an associate producer on Land Grant Films’ documentary The Library That Dolly Built.
Leigh Shoemaker
User Experience and Information Designer
Digital Communications, Office of Communications and Marketing
Leigh Shoemaker is a user experience and information designer on the digital communications team in the Office of Communications and Marketing. She holds advanced degrees in information science and philosophy and has more than 15 years of experience building and refining digital content for higher education. Her primary areas of focus are UX and accessibility, with the goal of making university websites accessible and user friendly for everyone.
Cassandra Sproles
Senior Editor
Office of Communications and Marketing
Cassandra Sproles is a senior editor on the creative communications team in the Office of Communications and Marketing. She is also the executive editor of Torchbearer magazine and a member of UT’s social media team. She edits, writes, and develops content for various projects. Sproles is a former newspaper reporter and editor who will graduate with a master’s degree in communication and information from UT this summer. She also has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise.
