Brian-Canever

Brian Canever

Brian Canever is an award-winning feature writer. For the past decade, he has written about American cage fighters, immigrant soccer players, community educators, frontline health care workers, and hundreds of local, national and international sports, nonprofit, and higher education leaders. Before earning a master’s degree in communication and information from UT, he graduated from William Paterson University with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American and Latino studies.

Deb Miller

Debra Miller
Professor and Interim Director of the UT One Health Initiative
UT Institute of Agriculture

Debra Miller serves as the interim director of the One Health Initiative and the director of the Center for Wildlife Health. She is a DVM and PhD with a split position between the Department of Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries and the Department of Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Her research investigates wildlife health issues using a one health approach.


Patrick Lamb

Patrick Lamb is an information specialist for the Office of Student Life Communications. In this role, Patrick helps divisional partners by providing creative solutions to maximize initiatives that serve our students and the greater UT community. Prior to his current role, Patrick served as the media specialist for the Office of Student Media at UT for 13 years.
